Why it matters

Without proper structure and compliance, even the best business ideas can stumble. Legal clarity is your first form of credibility — with customers, partners, and funders. It's also the safety net that ensures long-term growth isn't derailed by technical errors or penalties.

Our Focus Areas

Sole Proprietorship

A Sole Proprietorship is the simplest form of business ownership — perfect for freelancers, traders, and small service providers. It is owned and managed by one individual and is not a separate legal entity from the owner.

Registration of Firms (Partnership Firm)

A business entity formed by two or more persons under a partnership deed, sharing profits and responsibilities. Not a separate legal entity, but recognized under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932.

Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)

A flexible corporate structure that provides limited liability to partners. It enjoys a separate legal identity and is regulated by the LLP Act, 2008.

Private Limited Company (Pvt Ltd)

The most preferred structure for startups and high-growth companies. It offers limited liability, a separate legal entity, and access to equity capital.

One Person Company (OPC)

A hybrid structure for single entrepreneurs offering limited liability and corporate identity. Requires a nominee to act in case of the promoter's incapacity.

Public Limited Company

Ideal for large businesses aiming to raise capital from the public. Requires minimum 3 directors and 7 shareholders. Can be listed or unlisted.

Section 8 Company (Non-Profit)

Formed for promoting charitable, educational, social, or environmental objectives. Cannot distribute profits and must reinvest surplus in its purpose.

Producer Company / Farmer Producer Organization (FPO)

Registered under Companies Act for agricultural producers. Aimed at improving access to inputs, finance, processing, and collective bargaining.

Nidhi Company

A company formed to cultivate savings habits among its members. Can only lend to and accept deposits from members. Governed by Section 406 of Companies Act.

Trust (Indian Trusts Act, 1882)

An entity created by a trust deed to serve charitable, religious, or philanthropic objectives. Managed by trustees.

Society (Societies Registration Act, 1860)

Formed by a group for promoting literary, cultural, or charitable purposes. Requires at least 7 members.

12A Registration

Allows non-profit entities to claim exemption from income tax. Mandatory for NGOs to be tax-exempt.

80G Registration

Allows donors to claim tax deduction for donations made to registered NGOs.
